Meeting Amber

August 13th, 2010 - After a week of camping with my work, I got to go on a well deserved vacation to California. We were going to meet our new neice Amber in California and our new nephew Trever in Las Vegas. We got to California and our first stop was meeting Amber. What a cutie! She was in her pirate outfit. She has a ton of really cute clothes. I loved holding her, it made me realize how big Lily has gotten.

Lexi gives Amber a kiss. She has been so excited to meet Amber and has talked about it a lot.

Jeremy is holding both Amber and Lily. (Lily is trying to grab at Amber, she was really interested in someone smaller then herself). Lexi wanted in the picture.

Jer and his sister with their babies. Lily was once that small and now she's gotten so big!

Grandma and grandpa Webb with most of their grand daughters. We're all getting together for Christmas to get pictures with all the grandkids, that's going to be awesome. I was impressed that Lexi wanted to be in the pictures and she was actually smiling! She rarely does that. I usually have to work to get those pretty smiles.

Lexi has her serious face on because she's trying to be really careful with Amber.

Camp Jenga

Another game we played at camp was truth and dare Jenga, we play this every year. We were not consistent on the truth and dare part, but we had a blast.

Mike goes for gold on the bottom of the stack.

Carrie

Ulf

Hollie

I think Ulf actually knocked it down, but you can see Carrie's hands and some great facial expressions.

A few years ago Dennis, Brittany, Maddy, and I tried to copy the picture on the box. We decided we needed a new picture with more people. This was my favorite one with Maddy, Carrie, Bobby, Dennis, Mike, Hollie, and me.

Peanuts

Camp Trip 2010 - My work goes up camping every year with our members for some relaxation, home-made icecream, s'mores, sonki ponki, tie dye, and of course the late night games! This year we played a new one called peanuts (I think). It was a blast and we saw a really funny side of Carrie. In this game basically you have peanuts on strings and when you roll (2 di) either a 7 or an 11 you slam down the lid before the players can get their peanuts out.

Everyone with their game faces on.

Are you ready?

The best part was when the peanuts would get smashed.

Veterans Park

We have been doing a lot of fun things with Jer here this summer. This day we went to veterans park and swam in their pool and went down the water slide. We went with the Mahoney's and had a ton of fun. Lexi and I went down this water slide tons of times. She wanted to go, but I ad to take her. Jer took Lily once, but she hated it and was really upset.

Reagan practiced floating in the water.

Lily and I in the water, she is such a water baby, though the water can not be too cold!

Jer and Lexi in the water together. He was helping her float.

Another good one of me and Lily. There was some lightening so we had to get out of the water for fifteen minutes to see if it would clear up.

Fountain Fun

We finally got back to the fountains and they were on, yeah! Lexi had a blast. All the kids were running all over the place. Jer and I even got in and played.

The shooting water was Lexi's favorite I think.

Jer brought Lily in and she loved it. She was smiling like crazy, but then what else is new?

Grandma and Grandpa and Aubrey came to watch Lexi play in the water.

Grandma held Lily for a bit so I could take pictures.

I rolled my pants up so I could go in and have some fun.

Lexi is queen of the rock!

Every hour the fountains turn off for ten minutes so the kids can get a potty break and all the kids run next to the drain and lay in the water, well Lexi joined right in.

Lily was enjoying herself on the blanket after I was done playing and taking pictures of Lexi. She looked so cute I had to put in a picture of her too.

BYU reunion

The people from my freshmen year at BYU get together occasionally when people are going to be in town and I was really excited to be in town for this. I got the girls all dressed up. Lily wore her hair in a ponytail for the first time, so cute! I love this face she's making.

We went to Liberty park in Salt Lake City and met with Chelsea, Olya, and Guiselle and all their families. The park had everything. Water, a sand pit, toys, tons of swings, animal, you name it. Lexi loved the water and kept going from area to area trying to decide what to play on.

Lily was so good the entire time. She sat in her stroller and people watched a lot. Then she got out and played with Aubrey, Guiselle's daughter who is only 3 weeks older then her. She is such a good baby!

Here is the sand pit. Lexi played over here wuite a bit and buries some of her people in the sand.

Lily and Aubrey together. Both were about the same size. Future BYU room mates?

Alyssa, Jimmy, and Lexi play together in the sand.

We tried to get some good pictures of all Chelsea, Olya, Guiselle, and my kids together but it's hard getting that many kids to look one way! After this we went to Trolley square to eat at the Spaghetti Factory and met up with Matt and Lacy. Overall it was a lot of fun.
