Flashback Music Festival
Some of my co-workers invited me to go to the Flashback Music Festival. They had Foghat, Kenny Loggins, Three Dog Night, KC and the sunshine band, Hotel California (an Eagles tribute band), and Blood, Sweat, & Tears. It was so much fun. I got to see most of the bands. It lasted from 12 to 9 pm, but I had to leave at 5:30. It was still awesome. Maddy got there early and saved us seats right up front.

Grandpa and Grandma Massey go to my Derby game
It so happened that when Grandpa and Grandma Massey were in town that I was scheduled to play in a derby game. It was on the banked track, which is WAY different then playing on the flat track, so I wasn't very impressive, but they had a great time. It was such a close game the entire time so it was exciting.

Playground/Farmer's Market
We were driving somewhere one Saturday and we saw a Farmer's Market. The girls really wanted to see it so we stopped by. It was fun to see all the crafts and try a few samples. Afterwards, the girls wanted to play one the playground and we really had no where to go so we played for a bit. Lexi even pushed Lily on the swings when my arms got tired.

Warning: If you are Jennifer, DON'T look
Well I attempted haircuts on the girls. Lily cries when we brush her hair because of all of her tangly curls so I gave them a trim. She wanted to be snow white for Halloween (that has now changed) so I tried a snow white cut. I did a HORRIBLE job. I did well with Lexi's hair. A few things, I need real hair cutting scissors, I need children who sit still, and I need to be talented at haircutting. The girls were happy though. Lily told people she got a princess haircut and as long as she is happy, then I am happy.
Labor Day at the Zoo
Hoagle Zoo! Grandma and Aunt Aubrey have year round passes that allow an additional adult and tons of kids in free so we got to go to the zoo for free! It was so much fun to see the animals and watch the kids play in the splash pad. Lily of course loved the giraffe and Lexi loved the elephants.
