New Headbands

April 18th- I showed up for work on Monday and my co-worker had made super cute headbands for my girls. I didn't think they would fit, but they did. The girls loved them!

Playing at Pirate Island

April 16th- After the pirate party and cake the kids got to go and play with the games. They each got a bag of tokens. Lexi loved all the games. She went on the carousel, and played ski ball and tons of other games.

Keira's Pirate Party

April 16th, 2011- Keira (Lexi's good friend) turned 4 and had a pirate party at Pirate Island. The kids got to be in the Mermaid room and had a pirate cake, pirate hat, and even an eye patch.

Keira was dressed up as such a dute little pirate.

Ceci made a beautiful pirate cake.

The kids played pin the flag on the X or whatever. Lexi did really good. She got it right next to the X, but one of the older kids got right on the X. Bummer.

Lexi/Uncle Royce's Teddy got into it and loved wearing the pirate hat and eye patch.

The kids loved seeing Keira open her presents. She loved the Barbies Lexi got for her.

Our Party Weekend

April 16 & 17- Wow, we have had quite the week, lots of birthdays-Maegan, Nicole, Ann, Kevin, Aubrey, and Jennifer. On top of that Lexi's friend Keira's birthday was Saturday. The kids were practically singing Happy Birthday in their sleep. Well as part of this Jer and I had 3 parties this weekend, two held by us and one we went to. Friday night was our Rifftrax party for inception. We made pop corn (with lots of flavors) and scotcheroos. I wore these cute shoes that I got for my birthday. Saturday we went to Keira's birthday party (pics later), and sunday we had a party for Kevin. For Kevin we made two types of ravioli with salad and garlic bread. We also had two kinds of cake-Funfetti cake and angel food cake with chocolate frosting. Kevin brought over about 10 friends and we had a blast. We played a smurf game and were all laughing so hard. The girls loved having lots of people over. Lily loved the cake.

Reading with Grandma

April 10th-While at Grandma's, the girls got Grandma to read them a story as we were getting ready to go. They love story time.

I still get amazed at how much these two look alike.

Random Fun moments

April 9th/10th- Lexi caught Jer and I dancing after she was supposed to be in bed and wanted to join us. We let her and she loved it. I tried to get a picture and she was being shy.

Sunday morning we let Lexi watch Backyardagains and the moose, Tyrone was being a cooking ninja with a wooden spoon. Lexi ran to the kitchen and grabbed a wooden spoon and did some of the moves with him.
Lily had a tea party and I thought she was so adorable with her little tea cup.

On the way to Jer's parents house Lexi fell asleep and Lily was trying to copy her, but wasn't actually asleep, so funny.

Watching Strawberry shortcake on Aunt Aubrey's i-pad. The girls love this.

Home and Garden Expo

April 9th-Jer and I got free tickets to the Home and Garden Expo and I love going to things like this. This one did not turn out to be so much fum for Jeremy and myself, but the kids loved it. They had a huge bounce house that Lexi got to run through. She loved it.

Next we saw a bug spray place with huge tarantulas. Lexi was making cute faces and squeaking. The tarantula was looking right at her.

Both the girls made messes of themselves with free ice cream sandwiches. This was Lily's favorite part.
Lexi found a small house which she loved and wants one for her own (any volunteers to build us one, grandpa?)
