Cursed Nerds!

December 2011-I couldn't get a good picture, but my beautiful daughter Lexi decided to put nerds (the little pebble like candies) in her ears. Yep, both ears. Fun. We tried to get them out, but didn't know how. I was driving to the instacare (dredding the $75 co-pay) when I thought to call my mom and sister in law Ann, both of whom are nurses. They said the same thing, to flush it with water. So we tried. Lexi was not happy, but we kind of fibbed and told her the doctors would give her shots if we had to go there. It ended up working. We saw the hot pink nerd come out, but we didn't see the orange one come out. I used a flash light and it is no longer in there, so I think we are good. Phew!
