Our Princess Picnic

We had a princess picnic one Sunday afternoon. The girls dressed in their fanciest dresses and we packed a picnic basket and blanket. We had a lot of fun.

The girls and I were paid to make curious george some outfits. These are three of the five that we came up with. We have so much fun making these.

A bathtub full of what?

My kids had a creative moment where they filled the tub with stuffed animals and then were laying in it. I joined in with them for some fun.

Dad comes to visit

Dad came for a visit! We went to Olive Garden with Dad, Lexi, Kevin, and Kristal. While we were waiting to be seated, we grabbed some crayons and kid packs and colored on the lawn. It was a lot of fun.

1st Day of 1st Grade

We went to a Kmart that was closing where everything was 70% off and found one Monster High shirt her size on one rack and one matching skirt on another rack. Awesome! Lexi was so excited for 1st grade. She is learning Spanish this year, so we are hoping that goes well. When I picked her up, she said in awe, "Mom, they have TWO recesses in 1st grade." She loved eating lunch in the cafeteria. She also likes both of her teachers Mrs. Peterson and Senora Ward.

7 peaks Salt Lake

So after going to 7 peaks in Provo, we went another day to 7 peaks in Salt Lake. We spent most of the day there. The kids had a blast. Lily actually calmed down around the water and didn't constantly cling to me. Lexi was a dare devil and went on a really scary ride. I told her I would go with her, but I was hoping the entire time that she would chicken out. She didn't, so I had to do it too! Super scary. We had lunch at the park and got to spent time with Aunt Christy and the cousins.

7 peaks

 Christy, Geoff, and the kids came up to Utah to visit. We went to 7 peaks for a bit. We had so much fun. Em was so cute. She kept jumping into the water. She loved it.

 Lily and Em had fun playing in the tubes.

 Lexi was exhausted afterwards. She slept with her goggles on in case she had dreams about the water.

Lily's new giraffe room

 So Lily is in love with giraffes. I had done a beautiful butterfly room for her, but there comes a point where you realize maybe the room was more for you then for her. So I changed her room for her. Her is her old butterfly room.

 New Room: We flipped her quilt over and put a giraffe on it. Super inexpensive.

 I bought this little giraffe candle holder on clearance for $.75

 I repainted these hooks that I got for $.80 each.

 I bought the frames for $2.50 each and the trough for $3.50. The ribbon was about $2.80.

Lily was thrilled! She loves her room so much.

Derby game

 Another derby game. We won! This team is undefeated this year so far! woo-hoo.
