Breakfast with a Witch

Grandma and Aubrey took Lexi and Lily to Gardner Village to have Breakfast with a Witch. It is a breakfast with tons of witches coming around and talking and performing. The witches got the girls on stage. Lily did a rat song and a little rat solo. Lexi and Lily got to go up and do a rainbow ribbon thing. Afterward they met dad and looked around Gardner Village. The girls had so much fun.

I think this one was name Disco Patty and she had the girls babysit her frog.

Hay Ride

Grandma, Aunt Aubrey, Uncle Royce, and Aunt Ann took the girls on a hay ride. They loved it, you can tell by their faces.  They also got to play on some of the other rides.

Flat tire

I got a flat tire! I actually heard it hissing out air so I was able to drive to a place to get it fixed instead of having to wait for a tow truck. My other tire had a nail in it so I got one patched and one replaced. :(

Pumpkin Tea Party

I got this great pumpkin tea set at my work. Who else would want this but me right? My kids invited Savanna over to have a tea party with us. It was fun to have a life size tea pot instead of little baby ones that hold one ounce.

Red Ribbon Week

It was red ribbon week at Lexi's school. Monday she wore all red. She tried to fit as much red on herself as possible. Red skirt, red shirt, red bandana in her hair. Tuesday was crazy hair day. I did not plan ahead so we just threw some stuff together in her hair and called it good. Lexi said that her hair was the best in her class. When I tried to ask her if anyone else had crazy hair she said, "No mom, my hair was the best." She did say a lot of people went spikey or had one braid and one ponytail. Wednesday was wear a jersey day. She wore my Orange Derby Jersey to school. I was excited that she chose to wear my derby jersey. Lily saw Lexi's crazy hair and had to have her hair done all crazy too. We found enough stuff to do twin-ish hairstyles.

Picnic

A guy from the ward asked my kids and I to go on a picnic with him and his son. It was fun. We had pizza and the kids loved playing with Everett.

Painting the dance studio

One of my friends has a daycare and she was turning one of the rooms into a dance studio. I made curtains and painted life size silouettes of dancers on the wall. It was a lot of fun to do.

Fun at the Mall

Lexi had been begging me for about two weeks to take them out to eat. I thought at first that she meant to McDonald's, but she meant a sit down dinner. I thought about it and decided that maybe it would be good to see what they were like at a restaurant before I tried taking them on a date with me or something like that. They did fairly well. Lexi had a hard time sitting down the entire time. Bringing toys and paper to color was definately a help. Lexi took my picture and it turned out kind of blurry. Oh well. Then we wondered the mall and took some pictures next to the cutout. The girls had to trade and get a picture in each of the sides.

Temple

I go to the temple with some of my co workers. I got a copy of their picture

Flashback Music Festival

Some of my co-workers invited me to go to the Flashback Music Festival. They had Foghat, Kenny Loggins, Three Dog Night, KC and the sunshine band, Hotel California (an Eagles tribute band), and  Blood, Sweat, & Tears. It was so much fun. I got to see most of the bands. It lasted from 12 to 9 pm, but I had to leave at 5:30. It was still awesome. Maddy got there early and saved us seats right up front.

Grandpa and Grandma Massey go to my Derby game

It so happened that when Grandpa and Grandma Massey were in town that I was scheduled to play in a derby game. It was on the banked track, which is WAY different then playing on the flat track, so I wasn't very impressive, but they had a great time. It was such a close game the entire time so it was exciting.

Grandpa and Grandma Massey

Grandpa and Grandma Massey went on vacation and were driving through Provo and Salt Lake on their way back to Sacramento. They stopped by to see my house as well as to see Kevin, Kristal, and the girls. Lexi and Lily went crazy playing with Grandpa. They call him the Leprachon grandpa because he is so tricky. Lily was a bit shy, but warmed up pretty fast.

Playground/Farmer's Market

We were driving somewhere one Saturday and we saw a Farmer's Market. The girls really wanted to see it so we stopped by. It was fun to see all the crafts and try a few samples. Afterwards, the girls wanted to play one the playground and we really had no where to go so we played for a bit. Lexi even pushed Lily on the swings when my arms got tired.
