My shoe collection

The worst thing about packing and moving is not having access to all of your things or not knowing where they are. I finally found all my converse shoes. I also found a place to put them, temporarily. Now I know where to look once I have chosen an outfit.

Lily

We were furniture shopping while Lexi was racing and Lily found a great hiding spot

Race with Grandma

Grandma Webb was doing a 5K run for her work and took Lexi along. She did so well. She ran about 2.5 miles out of the 3.1. They had to walk up hills, but the rest was all running. Afterwards they enjoyed a french toast breakfast. Lexi was super tired, but had a great time.

Sunday Drive

Tom and I decided to go on a Sunday drive. Lily loves jeep drives and we were picking up Lexi at grandma's house who lives right by the canyon. Lexi wasn't very thrilled after a while, but enjoyed some of it.
We saw some great views that my phone just didn't capture
Tom happy just to be driving
Lexi is getting so tall and so pretty
Lily fell asleep for a good while. We wanted to stop by Kevin's house, but he wasn't home, but he did come by later.

Lexi's Elephant Room

Also while in Vegas I sewed Lexi's pillow case, one of her curtains, and started on her quilt. I organized all of her toys.
Here is her new quilt. She went with me to pick out the fabric.
We put up her pictures from her last room, but if I find elephant pictures I will replace the Rapunzel pics.
We found these elephants that I used to kind of border her room.
Here is the elephant on her door.

Lily's Giraffe Room

The kids were spending the weekend with the Webbs so we set about decorating the kid's rooms. Lily's room was first. She has adored giraffe's since she was 16 months old. We kept all the things from her last giraffe room and added some new things.
While in Vegas I sewed curtains for her window and for her bunk bed so she can have her own secret fort. She loved it and was so excited.
I kept the pictures and trough from her last room as well as her blessing dress.
Put up the hooks again. This time we did them at her height so that she could reach them.
Here is the awesome giraffewallpaper stuff that Tom and I put up. It completely matched her fabric and it was on clearance!
Here is a close up of the giraffe hook holding her giraffe purse.

Daddy Tom's Birthday

Happy Birthday Tom! We got him a "proper" toilet. When we were house hunting, whenever he saw an elongated toilet, he would call it a "proper" toilet. Well our house didn't have one so I bought him one for his birthday. He was pretty excited. That thing was so heavy I barely got it out of my car and then wrapped it right there. We also got him a bunch of books he wanted.

The girls loved giving "Daddy Tom" his birthday presents.
