Lily's Party

December 5th- Happy Birthday Lily. Lily loved being sang to, opening gift, cupcakes, everything. I took most of the day off of work to spend with just Lily. We went to the Mall and chose a few toys. We made cupcakes and just had some mommy/Lily bonding. Then we had some family over for cupcakes and presents.

Pajamas! Cool!

Lily loving her new dress. Thanks Aunt Aubrey!

Grandma playing with the Lego set she bought Lily.

Lexi made a reindeer out of the Legos.

Lily loved all the clothes she got and wanted to try them all on.

Lily was thrilled with each new gift. Grams, you bought this one, remember?

Lexi loved playing with all her, I mean Lily's new toys.

Uncle Kevin was a hit when he gave Lily chocolate. This is a guy who knows the way to a lady's heart.

Ann came at the end. Lexi loved showing off all of Lily's new toys.

Happy Birthday Wesley!

November 28th-Lexi's boyfriend turns 3. That's right, she likes a younger man, but look at him. Can you blame her? He is adorable. She has actually already kissed him on more then one occasion.

Allison made a Chungington Train cake. So cute!

I let Lexi pick out Wesley's gift. He loved it. He is really into Toy story. We had a good time and the cake was delicious.

Finding/Decorating our Tree

November 25th- Well the debate was settled. For those of you who don't follow Jer's facebook page, he wanted a 13 foot tree and I wanted a 7 foot tree. Our tree (including stand and star) is 10 feet, 1 inch tall. We compromised, that and the 13 foot tree would have been about $300! Anyhow, the kids had fun snuggling in their blankets and racing through the tree lot.

We got home and decorated. It was fun. There are a lot on the bottom where Lexi and Lily can reach. I tried to even it out, but you know I love the bottom heavy look with kids.

Lexi posing on the latter. Okay, so having to get on a latter to decorate the tree is a little annoying, but worth it.

I don't know how a hairbow got on our tree. I had one clue, it was on the very bottom of the tree. Hm.

Thanksgiving

So I lost my camera (temperarily) so I didn't get any picture of Thanksgiving Dinner, but it was fabulous. Jer and I took Lexi to see The Muppets. Then we went by Grandpa's grave to decorate it for Christmas. The kids loved it, but it was really cold so we didn't stay too long.

Both of the girls got flashlights, they loved that.

Cursed Nerds!

December 2011-I couldn't get a good picture, but my beautiful daughter Lexi decided to put nerds (the little pebble like candies) in her ears. Yep, both ears. Fun. We tried to get them out, but didn't know how. I was driving to the instacare (dredding the $75 co-pay) when I thought to call my mom and sister in law Ann, both of whom are nurses. They said the same thing, to flush it with water. So we tried. Lexi was not happy, but we kind of fibbed and told her the doctors would give her shots if we had to go there. It ended up working. We saw the hot pink nerd come out, but we didn't see the orange one come out. I used a flash light and it is no longer in there, so I think we are good. Phew!

Derby Fundraiser

November 19th-Derby Fundraiser. Super fun. I got my name on my shirt, yeah! I even tried to do the Leah buns.

Pedicures

November 19th-Okay so I am behind! I went out with my friends Donna and Carrie to get pedicures. It was so nice. It got embarrassing when they were scrubbing my feet because I was laughing so hard. My feet can get super ticklish!

Some random guy wanted his picture taken.

The final product. Mine are on the bottom in hot pink.
