My first Scrimage
The air is cold, so cold you can barely see your breath form as they call out the two teams for the first scrimage of the night. The tension is thick as the players enter the track. Princess Fillet Ya first up on the bench skates over to the inside line, hoping to prove herself in her first game. They call ten seconds. She adjusts her position and falls on her butt. Yep, that's exactly how the game started, but it's not how it ended. I got over being nervous and was able to get in some good blocks, hits, and yes a few falls. It was so much fun.Wednesday, January 11, 2012
Flour child

January 2nd, 2012-Not the way I wanted to start my year off. So I was organizing all the Christmas presents and cleaning the house. Lily was down for a nap. It suddenly got really quiet. I went upstairs and this is what I found. Lexi heard me coming and hid behind the door. She was so funny about it, I really couldn't get mad. She did get to be in time out until I got it all cleaned up.Wicked!!!!!!
December 28th- For Christmas my dad got us all tickets to see WICKED!!! We were so excited. It was amazing. Christy, Geoff, Dad, Curtis, Jai, Kevin, Jeremy, and I all went. Jere and I went with Christy and Geoff for dinner before hand so we would miss the traffic. It is always fun to have a night out without the kids.Beach day in December
December 28th-Lexi has really been wanting to go to the beach and the weather was beautiful! We had so much fun. Lily had never seen the ocean so she was amazed. Maegs came with us, which was super fun. She and Lexi built a sand castle. The kids were brave and got in the water. I only stuck my toes in.Legoland
December 27th-Lego land! We got four free tickets for Legoland from this amazing, super wonderful person that I know. I looked on line and Lily was free so we brought Maegan with us. It started off a little rough with Maegan getting car sick in the car on the way. After that it was all up hill. We went to the Aquarium first, then Legoland! Lexi, Maegs, and I went on all the roller coasters. Maegan was super brave since I had to sit next to Lexi and she had to sit alone. All over there were cool animals, people, and scenes made out of legos. They had almost the entire Star Wars series made into lego scenes. So cool. This first picture is Lily in the dinosaur excavation pits.
Our first roller coaster was a kid one, just to get warmed up.
We went on jungle cars.
Lexi driving, she loves pretend driving.
Boat ride with all the fairy tales made with Legos.
Trying to get me into a picture.
The girls liked shooting waters at the lego alligators.
Harry potter and Hagrid in Legos.
Huge legos! Theses were my size.
Lexi practicing her doctor skills from pretend city day.

Okay, so we played a game that Lexi was 6 and was old enough to drive these cars. She even told the lady that came around asking that she was 6. Lexi ended up hating this ride. She got a broken car that wouldn't turn correctly so she did not have that much fun. She did get her license though.
