Our Papa passed away Monday March 22nd, the day after we left. His funeral was on March 27th. He was in the Marines. He had a beautiful casket.
Christy and I sang "There you'll be" by Faith Hill. It was a great song to represent our Papa.
Dad conducted, Curtis read a beautiful letter from Kevin, who was serving a mission, and our cousin Steve said a few words. Rev. Phil Ostraguard gave a life sketch. All in all it was a beautiful service.
Here is my sweet Lexi taking it all in. I am sad that her and Lily won't know Papa as well as I did, but they also have some great grandpas.
